Growing up with Oprah. Where it all began Part 1!

When I began to study the impact that someone made in my life and on so many occasions, the way to express those moments, My own Ah! Ha! moments were so many that I wanted to devote the time and give my tribute as best I knew how. The repeating mantras when I would watch on The Oprah Winfrey show. The constant reminders that maybe just maybe I was steering my thoughts, my life, my world in the right direction. Oprah was always there for me!

The internet was not as in your face as it is now and we had to rely on the television shows and the Oprah magazine for reinforcement. There was definitely a movement starting. People getting in touch with the universe. I was replacing what I knew as God to become a much larger focus, because no one spirit, no one belief could carry the weight of a larger picture for me. What was this thing "the universe"? I was a staunch student of Wayne Dyer, Silva Mind control and slowly learning the very simple lessons of a much bigger path, a much larger path.

Oprah would just break it down for me in to simpler moments. The ones that made it personal for me. She talked to me when I watched or read, the sentences ,phrases or the very same things I was trying to share with anyone who listened to me, that this is the way of life. The universe always looking for the best that I would let it offer me. The lessons that it has and teaches me to this very day. The main reasons for my blog. To give to others what works for me. Completely and from the heart.

Learning the "knowing", Learning the "believe" mantra. All seemed for me so many times, the feel good for now moments and Oprah could show that someone else saw the same things I did, that I believed. Someone else with an audience, with recognition that built her world with a simple want to care for others, to show others everything is really posssible if you ask. What I was to learn and still learn are the steps. Asking for the know how. Asking for the tools to make things happen in my life. The universe always came through, always comes through. The more I believe the bigger the moment for me.

Those different chapters that would carry me through all of my life challenges, the roller coaster rides that take you up and down from no money to too much money. The relationships that try to devastate and teach you how hard it can be just to want to be happy. Each turn, each path with its own set of lessons that would carry me. Oprah was always there for me. Someone that would always show me that what I thought was tough, there would be something even larger on that show, on her show that moved me forward. Or the magazine article that would give you and me the images and sayings that you print out or paste up that encourage and help affect change.

As she grew we all grew. As she grew, I grew. The nation is changing. The world is getting easier to access and quicker with the interenet. The gift of "Facebook", of "Instagram" and so much more, that we take for granted and sometime can not remember our life with out them. We all of a sudden began and have made a huge leap. After all the years of wanting and asking to make a difference. The universe responded better that imagined. And we turned to the next chapter.
